Lauryn Hill’s ‘Ex-Factor’ Was A Chart Hit – Billboard

Lauryn Hill’s “Ex-Factor” may have gotten a 2018 update from both Drake and Cardi B, but The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill single is a stone-cold classic that was a stellar performer back when it first climbed the Billboard charts.

“Ex-Factor” was one of six hits from Miseducation that charted on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The track peaked at No. 7 on the tally dated March 13, 1999, and spent 31 weeks on the list — the longest run of any of the album’s tunes.
